Perform engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures, and facilities, such as roads, railroads, airports, bridges, harbors, channels, dams, irrigation projects, pipelines, power plants, and water and sewage systems. Includes architectural, structural, traffic, ocean, and geo-technical engineers. Excludes "Hydrologists". Civil engineers touch many aspects of our everyday lives. From the water you use to brush your teeth in the morning to the road you drive on to work and the school where you take your children to the power that charges your cell phone. Civil engineers design and build the systems that bring us water and power.

why i want to be a civil engineer?:
Because I want to be able to help out the community and create better things and rebuilt thing that exist for the civilians benefit.

Mathematics - Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
